Hey Clan,

I'm going to be MIA on the GG as my SSD is poopie. I always had problems with the BIOS recognizing it but now it's FUBR so till it comes back from warranty my gaming computer is POOP

wow, im glad i don't go for the newest stuff out :-)

my seagates never failed me so far, been dealing with the brand since about 3 yrs now, about 200 hdds purchased within that time and maybe 2 were non functional, but non failed so far after a period of time or so:)

that sucks balls. were you at least able to recover the data from it before u sent it back to the manufacturer?

As for my data, the first time it happened I was able to reseat the drive and boot again, at which point I did a dance and moved everything over to my external. If I didn't I wouldn't have been able to turn in my senior thesis (it happened when I came home to print it out just after it was due) and would have had to go to college for another (that'd make 6) years!

ur lucky u were able to boot it up again. hopefully u have learned ur lesson and will backup important files on flashdrives from now on lol

I've 'melted' three spinning disk drives in this computer already, I still can't learn my lesson :D
